German manufacturer of high-end audio equipment Sennheiser presented its latest model of budget Bluetooth earphones CX 6.00BT at the 2018 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The in-ear headphones are not completely wireless, as they are connected to each other with a cable that can be used to hang the buds around the neck.
At a price of $99.95, the earphones are considered to be budget-friendly compared to its competition Apple’s AirPods and Beats X, priced at around $150.
Earbuds feature a battery that supports fast charging via USB and can last up to 6 hours on one charge. It takes around 10 minutes to charge the battery for approximately two hours of playback. There is even a voice notification for low battery status. Extremely light, they weigh 14g and come with an integrated microphone with noise cancellation. The model features a three-button remote, with controls for music playback and answering calls.
A unique feature of the headset is the ability to connect it to two devices simultaneously, making it easy to switch between a computer and a smartphone as audio sources. The new model will become available for purchase later in January.
