Porsche unveiled its powerhouse electric sedan – Mission E Cross Turismo at the Geneva Motor Show this week.
The company said that the Mission E Cross Turismo will be able to reach 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds and its top speed of 155 mph in 12 seconds thanks to dual permanent-magnet motors. The battery can be charged through an 800-volt network at a rate of 100 kilometers of range for every 15 minutes at the plug.
The “CUV”, that is still in the concept phase, is designed for “active users” eager to head out for adventure during the weekend and get back to work on Monday, although the true off-road capability is unknown.
According to the reports, the Cross Turismo’s seats are mounted on rails, there is enough room for gear storage and the new driver interface features an eye-tracking system that isolates displays.
The Mission E Cross Turismo is intended to roll out shortly after the Mission E sport sedan sometime next year.
